'History of Eel Pie Island' Talk

Tuesday 11th February
2.30-4pm

Join us in The Arthur Burrell Room at Twickenham Library where we invite a guest speaker to divulge into the context of Eel Pie Island music history. Please note that this event requires a £5 contribution, and refreshments will be provided.

'The Great Stink of London' Talk

Friday 21st March
2.30-4pm

Stephen Fielding from local charity Habitats & Heritage will deliver a talk on 'The Great Stink of London' in the Arthur Burrell room at Twickenham Library. Join us to learn about the summer of 1858 when 1000's of Londoners died from Cholera and creation of London's sewerage system. Please note that this event requires a £5 contribution.

Easter Trip to Squires

Thursday 10th April
2.30-3.30pm

Come join us at the local Garden Centre Squires, for some Easter shopping followed by a chat over a hot drink and cake. Please note that this event requires a £5 contribution.

Half Day Boat Trip

Wednesday 21st May
2-5pm

Our Half Day Boat Trips departs from Teddington and sails through beautiful scenery toward Hampton Court and Weybridge. Please note that this event requires a £10 contribution, and refreshments will be provided.

The Rotary Fair

Monday 26th May
10.30am-3.30pm

The Rotary Fair takes place every May Bank Holiday on Twickenham Green and showcases local charity and voluntary work in Twickenham and Richmond. Come visit us at the Hands stall to find out more about what we do. Please note this is a public event and you do not need to register your interest.

Bushy Park in World War II

Friday 6th June
2.30am-4pm

Find out how Camp Griffiss, a US Air Force base, was set-up in Bushy Park ahead of the D-Day landings and how it influenced European and local history. David Ivison from Friends of Bushy and Home Parks will lead this talk in the Arthur Burrell room at Twickenham Library. Please note that this event requires a £5 contribution.
